A very Mind Tripping summer

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Wow, it sure feels like the summer went by so fast. But we were extremely busy with our Mind Tripping Show. We had a wonderful time, met fantastic people, have great stories to tell, and snapped lots of pictures. You know that we love to take pictures so here are a few more for you to enjoy: hilton for m2m3.jpghilton for m2m2.jpghilton show for m2m.jpg
If you want to read the stories from our summer adventures, please go to http://mindtrippingshow.com. You can also find the dates of our upcoming shows in Indianapolis, buy tickets to the show, and read more about our Mind Tripping Show adventures.

We are now on the road for our fall tour. We have already performed in 6 states in the past 7 days…and we have so many more states to come. We’ll be traveling from Maine to Texas and everywhere in between. And as always we will pass along the interesting things we learn, the fun people we meet, and the unusual stories we hear. To keep up with us on a daily basis, join Christian on his facebook page: Christian Painter. He’d love to connect with you. Or you can follow us on Twitter: married 2 magic.

We’ll be in touch again soon.

Sold Out Mind Tripping Show

Monday, July 26th, 2010

We absolutely love performing our Mind Tripping Show at the Hilton Hotel & Suites in downtown Indianapolis.16 jul the lie 2 women.jpg

We love the fantastic crowds, the energy and interaction of the audience, and the intimate setting for the show. We had a family of six who came to the show and after the show the father said “thanks for being so nice to my family”. We said “thank-you for honoring us by bringing your family to see our show.”

Campanile Center for the Arts Performance

Performing at the beautiful Campanile Center for the Arts was fabulous. A theatre crowd is always the best because they love the performing arts. We had a good mix of season ticket holders along with tourists who visit in the summertime. And we had the full range of people aged 6-96. We know that they loved the show because when we got to the last piece and told them the show was about to end, we heard then sigh and say “Awwwwwwww.”

What a great night at the Blue Chip Casino. The ISAE convention attendees were on the “Boardwalk” enjoying the food, the music, and of course the Mind Tripping entertainment from Christian & myself. They were a social group ready to have fun and not afraid to have us play with their minds.

Indiana Cultural Tourism Conference

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

What an honor it was to be a part of the 5th Annual Indiana Cultural Tourism Conference.

We travel around the country performing and it is always interesting when people hear that we are from Indianapolis. Of course Indianapolis will always be known for the Indy 500 and the Colts. Indiana and broadway/las vegas style entertainment just do not mix in many people’s minds but we are changing that as we are the #1 husband and wife comedy mind reading act in the nation!

Combining Married 2 Magic with a Transformation Theme

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

gccf6.jpg

When Dawn mentioned that the theme of this year’s annual dinner was transformation, we were thrilled! Transformation is our specialty. We were able to blend both the visual and psychological transformations that happen in our show, with the positive transformations that the Grant County Community Foundation make in the lives of individuals and the community.

We had a fabulous time and Dawn did such a great job of integrating the transformation theme.

She even had chocolate magic wands for dessert.

Creating Memorable Moments

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

keuka 2010a.jpg

The audience just loved it when we brought up Marcus to be in the show. When you get someone like Marcus who is exuberant and self-confident the conditions are perfect to have fun with him. Many times we will get someone from the audience chime in. These comments can be jewels because they are spontaneous and in the moment. We’ve had to pause our show because everyone was laughing so hard.

Taking your mind on a roller coaster ride

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

When we asked people from last night’s show to describe our show, it is not easy to do. One lady summed it up best. She said “Your brain is continuously asking itself “What just happened?”, but you are laughing at the same time. It does make your brain spin, but in a good way.”

stjo8sm.jpgstjo4sm.jpg
One minute you are laughing, the next stunned. It is a roller coaster ride for the mind.

Christian & I try designed our show to connect with people on an emotional level using social interaction, impossible effects, banter, and humor. We love entertaining and our goal is to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone.

Mind Tripping Stimulates the Mind and the Heart

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Christian & Katalina’s performance of Mind Tripping fuels a myriad of experiences in audience members such as:

Emotional connection and food for thought is what results from an engaging and exciting show. It is what leaves a lasting impression with people because it is what makes people feel alive.

Christian & Katalina Engage the Audience

Friday, January 15th, 2010

We love to see people engaged in our show. Pictures are fantastic at showing the variety of emotions that people have while watching or participating in our show. The stuff that we do is impossible and affects people in all kinds of ways. We see looks of incredulity, joy, and fear.

Here are some great examples from last night’s show:
